Review on Viotek GN32LD QHD 32 Inch Curved Gaming Monitor - 144Hz Refresh Rate, 2560X1440 Resolution, FreeSync and Anti-Glare Technology, Adjustable Stand, HDMI and DVI Input by Zackery Barnett

I don't normally write reviews but I decided to write about this monitor as buying a monitor (especially for gaming) can be quite a challenge. I'm not a professional gamer but I love FPS games and haven't seen many reviewers comment on how this works with FPS so I'm leaving this review. Before I get into the monitor rating, here are my system specs: Intel I7-6700K 4.00GHz SkylakeEVGA NVidia GTX 1070 FTW GAMING ACX3.0GSkill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) Gigabyte G1 Gaming GA-Z170XI with monitor with DisplayPort -Cable Matters (Gold Plated 6 Feet 4K Ready) cables, not the one that comes with the kit. I've only had it 2 days, but so far it's a great gaming monitor. I played CoD WWII on the highest settings and the picture looks very sharp and there are no pop-up anomalies (tearing, ghosting, etc.) on the screen. There is also no input lag. I also tested Doom 4 on maximum settings. This game also works incredibly well and there were no screen issues. I use a 24" Dell monitor (bought about 10 years ago) so this monitor is a big step up in size. (Model 2407 WFP if anyone wants to see those specs). From a gaming point of view, I'd say it's a worthwhile buy, especially for FPS games. If you are using a monitor with a lower refresh rate than 144Hz, make sure you update it in Windows as it will still show the last refresh rate used for the old monitor. Reading many reviews of this particular model, as well as the 35 inch, 1080p and gold color versions, there were many concerns about dead pixels, monitor not waking up or screen flickering. So far (again only 2 days) I haven't had any of these problems. I will update this review if anything changes, but for now this is the final product review.
