Review on 🍵 Stainless Steel Tea Kettle - Creative Home Jupiter 2.6-Quart, Two Tone Design by Agonia Pedrosa

I bought this to replace a 2 liter Calphalon kettle that had a rusted hole on top. Anyway I received this kettle quickly and out of the box it feels solid and looks like decent quality. It's time to use it. I filled it just above the fill hole, similar to how I fill Calphalon. When the water boils and I pour it into the thermos I always use, I find that it barely fills it up, unlike my 2-Qt-only Calphalon, which fills it up with a cup or more of hot water in reserve. I didn't take exact measurements, but I expected this Creative Home (2.6Qt) to have a significantly higher capacity than my 2-Qt Calphalon. As I said, the workmanship seems good, the whistling is weak, but still. I didn't notice any rust on the opening like my Calphalon did, so I was happy. But after 2.5 months I noticed that the inside of the bottom of the kettle where the flat surface meets the wall is starting to discolor. I can't say yet whether there is rust, but I didn't expect it with a stainless steel kettle either. I will try cleaning it with vinegar to hopefully clean it. I boil water 5 to 7 times a week. To be honest all I need is a reliable/clean kettle to boil water. But it seems that a durable kettle is so hard to find these days.
