I bought this to replace a 2 liter Calphalon kettle that had a rusted hole on top. Anyway I received this kettle quickly and out of the box it feels solid and looks like decent quality. It's time to use it. I filled it just above the fill hole, similar to how I fill Calphalon. When the water boils and I pour it into the thermos I always use, I find that it barely fills it up, unlike my 2-Qt-only Calphalon, which fills it up with a cup or more of hot water in reserve.
