Best Practice and "Copying " Watercolor Notebooks.

I have to say I was very impressed with this paper. I was very nervous about buying this because I didn't need another product I wasn't using and it ended up in my pantry closet taking up valuable space for other supplies. The flow of color and ability to handle water are pretty decent. This is not Arches watercolor paper but for the price and the amount of paper you get you can't get any better. I usually find it difficult to practice in the more expensive, better quality magazines because I feel like I'm wasting the article's potential just by practicing on it and it deserves my best efforts. I know I'm crazy because this is a watercolor magazine, you will not frame what comes out of the magazine. With them I have no qualms about getting into creative play mode because I don't waste good paper.

Pros
  • The right texture: not too coarse. Not too smooth. The surface of your Arteza fine art paper is cold pressed - slightly textured or "serrated" making it ideal for large and even fills as well as fine details.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
