are not isolated. Do not use a 24V AC power supply that supplies power to multiple cameras. What happens is that the BNC connector of the 12VDC cameras is grounded to the negative B power cable of the camera. So if you use a non-isolated converter like this it creates a short to the 24VAC power supply through negative ground. The entrance is not separated from the exit. I will try other similar converters to see which one is fully isolated. If it is the only converter in the system it may be used, but most CCTV systems have 4 or 8 x 16 CCTV cameras. So in the end I will keep it but not use it. to the next. By the way, I've been a CTTV installer since 1983 and design electronic circuits for a living, so I'm very experienced. the good thing i found so far is the model: cc7200. it's perfect and isolated but i can't find the source. Update: actually found elsewhere.
