My existing peeler is good for things like cucumbers, but definitely not good for thick-skinned veggies like squash and root vegetables like turnips. Enter this OXO scrub I bought based on the many positive reviews. As usual, Revain customers were not disappointed! He handles pumpkin skins (raw) and even the waxy skins of turnips like a boss. I'm not sure how it happened that some reviewers ended up cutting their fingers off, but if you use the tool properly, this won't happen. However, if you like adding strips of leather to any dish you prepare, I'm pretty sure this knife is for you.
