This kit contains everything you need to start felting and enjoy small projects. It's a lot of fun opening this set and discovering all the goodies inside. It's all packed tightly in this cute storage case that's small enough to carry around. Accessories are included so you can turn your creations into hair clips, keychains or charms. Also blue eyes for all animal creations you can think of. Foam stencils are included but not included in the storage kit. There are many different designs that you can have fun with. The instructions are useful but do not detail everything included in this set or how some items are used. I had to do some research since I first delved into needle felting. Project instructions are mostly visual. Ultimately, it is advisable to look at tutorials and other projects on Youtube. This set contains 40 yarns in beautiful fun colors, each individually wrapped. This is enough to create several small projects. Due to the many small accessories and sharp objects (long serrated needles, sharp scissors) this set is not intended for younger children. Do not buy this for young children. Keep it away from small children. My first project was a three color popsicle. I used the styrofoam template included in this kit and red, white and blue yarn. From this little project I learned: 1. It takes time to felt properly, 2. Don't get distracted, it's very easy to prick your finger, 3. It's fun. Thanks to this set I finally tried my hand at needle felting. yes i will do it again yes i recommend it This can be a really fun gift for smart adults.
