GM went metric and changed the 8 stud pattern to 8x180 circa 2010 and these adapters allow newer GM 8 stud wheels to be used on older GM 8 stud trucks. The 2" spacer/adapter fits perfectly. I used stock 18" aluminum wheels with 256/75 r18 tires from a 2014 GM truck. The spacing was perfect. Because of the wings, the tires didn't stick out. And they rub not on the fender or front bumper when turning. Maintains truck originality with lighter, taller aluminum wheels for a more modern factory look. Remember to torque each nut correctly. I did them in 120 ft lbs. Not sure what what are the exact specs? But that's my preference. Also be sure to re-tighten all the jam nuts. Everyone, even the ones holding the adapter to the hub. I've tightened them somewhere after 300-400 miles and again after another 400 miles Not sure about the torque specs or what is the recommended mileage to tighten the lugs but that's how I did it on my k2500 and never Pro had problems. Just remember there are 64 nuts to tighten and it's best to use a torque wrench and probably not the best idea to bang them on and call it fine?
