We fitted this flexible exhaust pipe to a small genset gas engine, the flared end matched the engine port perfectly. Both screw terminals were used at the connection to ensure no leakage. We then cut the tubing to fit the 1" hole that will be drilled in the concrete wall. We used a small amount of high temperature silicone sealant to caulk the tubing at the point of the outer exit from the wall, making a good seal and exhaust protection We used a 4" x 4" vent cap with bug screen to cover the outer end of the tube to keep rain and bugs out Looks nice and does the job.
