These lanterns are cute but difficult to assemble. But I thought they were worth the time. Until one day it got windy. These fires burn everywhere. No matter how tightly you attach your hats to your lantern cord, it won't be tight enough in gusty winds and you'll end up having to retie your hats. The wiring is very flimsy and easily bent, causing parts of the light filament to stop working. Unless you live in a windy area or can hang them somewhere sheltered, they should be fine. Otherwise they are just annoying. I like the way they look but they are too much of a hassle.
