Totally legal and super sticky! Apply once and forget
I can't remember what it said on the packaging, but around 50 or 100 years, way more than we need. Super, super sticky, does the job and seals well. You will probably want to wear disposable gloves as this material is very sticky. We use it for down ventilation and it works very well. Adhesion is great, but you'll need scissors (and the need to clean those scissors afterwards) to cut this, you can't just rip it apart like duct tape.
