Review on 99 06 Silverado Sierra Extended Handle by James Gregg

Works on my 2003 Silverado. The original lasted 12 years, the first replacement lasted 1 year. It broke in the last frost when the back door froze shut and I tried to open it. I hope this new one will last more than a year. I've had it on my truck for about three weeks and it still seems to be working. Installation is quick and easy if you have the tools. About five minutes of work. So your choice is to pay the dealer big bucks for an OEM that will eventually break, or buy a very cheap aftermarket replacement and hope for the best. I can tell that the type of plastic is different from the OEM that is still in the passenger door. For the price it's worth trying.
