Description far. The Gate comes with a 6" extension which is too big for my 34" space. Without an extension, the goal is too shaky. I called and they said I could buy a 4 inch extension from their Regalo daughter but they only come in white and I ordered a black gate. Your description should be more specific. I'm disappointed because I really needed this gate for the holidays. 11/28/18 - I'm currently checking my rating. After much negotiation with Carlson and Regalo I was able to get a 4" black extension. Customer service has been VERY patient with me at both companies. The 41" gate is high enough that my acrobatic kitty couldn't jump over it. Now am me happy!
