Final Report. For work, we took the R300 to the road for demos after trying a few other devices. It was hard. So much so that when I was struggling with WiFi at home I switched to the R600 for home use. Yes, it can get expensive for home use. But I tested AC3200 from different manufacturers. Some of them are decent, but none of them can match the humble R300 in terms of sustained performance, especially when it comes to multicast IP video. That made me want to take it home with me. Try 8Mbps multicast video on any consumer AC3200 and you'll see >5% packet loss even 3m from the access point. None of the Ruckus ZoneFlex I've tried had this.
