We hesitated whether to buy one of the cheap plastic shower holders or this high quality all metal (chromed brass) one . Cheap plastic ones work, but after counting the number of times we've either repaired or replaced them, we decided to buy the all-metal HammerHead. We are very happy with our purchase. I deducted a star, a bit picky on our part because the chrome was pitted. It's on the side we can't see so we installed it (looks really nice) but you would think that due to the effort they put into making this device the QC would be a bit higher, to match the finish with which you can connect (Graff, Kohler, Rohl, Grohe, etc.). Another issue is that the pointed corners feel very sharp - no kidding, as you don't want to press too hard or run your finger over them - so sharp (photo). Regardless, happy with the purchase.
