Review on 🔒 Honeywell Safes & Door Locks 8106401: Enhance Security with the Oil Rubbed Bronze Locking Door Lever by Jose Muenzen

Something I like but something I don't like. When installed it barely seemed to fit the existing holes and did not fit well, requiring adjustment and little machining. Looks like the measurements are a little different. Then, five months later, I couldn't open the door without struggling and desperately trying to get inside! wife didn't like it. Disassembled and reinstalled. Seems cheaply made, hence the low price. You would think that the Honeywell we all know and love wouldn't be a cheap product, but they did. The inner part, which is round and closes the hole in the door, has two screws. One side holding the top of (every?) screw gave way as it was too flimsy and poorly made. I will see if Honeywell will provide a replacement part and amend this review. But be careful, two stars is too generous, but it was easy to fit as it was a little smaller than usual. This lever replaces the Kwikset which has never been a problem. I just wanted to change the look and shape of the lever. I think I'll go back to the old Kwikset which works great.
