This wi-fi dongle provides a stable internet connection for my laptop
. The wi-fi endpoint is almost in the west part of my house. The laptop's built-in adapter got a reasonably clear signal most of the time, but it wasn't reliable. I got this device and hooked it up to my laptop and now I have a consistently good connection. Apart from a more stable internet connection, this dongle supports 802.11ac protocol, so my internet connection is not only stable but also much faster. My downloads now average around 200Mbps instead of around 25Mbps with the built in adapter. I couldn't be happier!
