Review on 🍳 Wilton Non-Stick Griddle with Bacon Pan, Size: 15 x 20-Inch by Dave Hock

Before I get into the review, I want to say that it fits a pound of extra long bacon and another pound of standard length bacon. So yes, it's big enough for 1 pound rashers of bacon laying flat. Extra long bacon that you fold, regular bacon that you fold a little across and a little along. If some of them hang in the fat trough, they shrink during cooking. This appliance is heavy, but it is designed for even cooking. The best way to cook it is to preheat your oven to 400F and cook for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the amount of fat and the thickness of your bacon. I cooked 1lb of very greasy bacon and it didn't fill up with lube which is a lot but be careful anyway! First cut off a few pieces with tongs, then carefully remove them from the oven and place them on a flat surface. It cooked my bacon perfectly, the bacon didn't burn or spatter and it cooked evenly. It's too big for my sink so I had to wash it in the tub but doesn't take more than an hour to cook a pound of bacon on the stovetop so worth cleaning in the tub, another benefit, if you do it this way with the pan don't hit the pan against anything and damage the scratch coating.
