🍳 Wilton Non-Stick Griddle with Bacon Pan, Size: 15 x 20-Inch Review

This pan cooks bacon perfectly. It's solid, so it won't fit in the sink or dishwasher. I always wait for it to cool, fill it up with soap and water and a bartender friend. I've only had it a few months and will have to throw it away. I can't delete it.

Ribs and deep sides for grease. It requires a lot of soaking and cleaning and is too big to fit in the sink. I'll try it on the top rack of my dishwasher. I don't want to use cooking spray as it usually leaves a residue that can't be washed off. All in all, using my regular baking sheet was almost as good and no messier than that.

Although I saw the size of this pan, it's actually bigger than I thought! I was amazed by the size and quality. It's great for baking/frying bacon, but I'm sure I'll use it for frying chicken wings and other things. This pan is way better than "frying" bacon on the stove. Try it and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!

I really like the size of this pan. Holds lots of bacon. However, I would like the well to be deeper. When we first used the pan, the pan tipped over and the hot bacon grease spilled onto my husband's hand, severely burning him. Luckily the wounds healed and we learned how to drain the bacon grease into a small saucepan before moving the pan. The surface is non-stick, but as with any cookware, the quicker you clean it, the easier it is to clean.

I've only used this item 5-6 times and HAND WASHED each time because it's too big for the dishwasher so it's not even a problem. The non-stick coating on this pan is peeling! Used it tonight to get ready for vacation, hand washed it and the coating was off even more! Wilton is usually the brand name I trust. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Should probably be thrown away. The return period has expired. Too expensive for a few uses.

Ideal for baking bacon and sausages. The bacon is crispy but not dry, and the sausage has a caramelized tint on the underside, giving it a crunchy and soft top (which my husband prefers). You could probably skim half to avoid the harder side. Fat goes to the brim compared to cooking meat in an oil bath. We can easily put a pound of bacon on a sheet pan, while we need two regular cooking sheets to make the same pack. Very satisfied.

This pan is HUGE! It fits in our regular sized oven but I had a hard time figuring out where to store it. Be sure to check the dimensions before ordering! Other than that, it's PERFECT. All of the fat drips to the outside edges of the pan while the bacon cooks to your liking. I like the size of this pan. You can easily cook half a kilo of bacon on it. Easy to clean. But the surface scratches easily. updated 1.19.19. Before I get into the review, I want to say that it fits a pound of extra long bacon and another pound of standard length bacon. So yes, it's big enough for 1 pound rashers of bacon laying flat. Extra long bacon that you fold, regular bacon that you fold a little across and a little along. If some of them hang in the fat trough, they shrink during cooking.
