Review on 🔒 Liftmaster 878max Garage Door Keypad: Enhance Security and Convenience by Troy Coskillas

Bought this 878Max (latest model) to replace a worn/dead keyboard (976LM). I was concerned about the .Chamberlain Pro LiftMaster Security+, 1/2HP, Model #1265 Garage Door Opener (Red Knob). was over 20 years old and I doubted it would work with such outdated hardware. The 878MAX box says this keypad works with all LiftMaster door openers made 1993 and later and it definitely worked for mine. It came with a 9V battery already installed and it took me less than 5 minutes to code the keypad and connect it to my door lock. Nothing is that easy for me! I am impressed. It took me longer to get the car out of the garage and get a ladder to access the door opener (to press the learn button) than to install the keypad! GREAT!
