Review on Enhance Suspension Performance with KYB SM5389 - Strut Mount Kit by Bob Souza

There was a wheel centering noise on a 2005 Pacifica. The springs should slide smoothly over the stanchion as you turn. Fastening kits are sold individually, so be sure to purchase two to complete the job. After removing the old bearings, I felt that they were much stiffer and freer to turn than the new ones, which indicated a malfunction. I installed new ones, tightened them onto the factory bolts, and the knocking was gone. It's worth noting that the factory mounts have a longer bolt that helps secure the driver's side coolant reservoir, which they don't. The bolt is still long enough to fit in the container but not to install the nut on it. Not a big problem as the tank is held on by two extra nuts. Don't shoot down a star. I'll update this review when I've put a few miles on the bindings, but I'm optimistic as KYB is a respected brand.
