I gave this monitor three stars because of the extremely misleading posting. This is a monitor full of features and compromises. Let's start with the refresh rate. It's 144hz if you run it at 8-bit color which looks awful, if you go to 10-bit you have to run it at 120hz. Let's talk about a 1ms response time. No, that only happens with extreme overload, which distorts the image so much that the monitor becomes unusable. Expect a response time of around 5 ms from this monitor. Next HDR is totally useless, whether Windows HDR or Monitor HDR, just pretend the feature doesn't exist as Windows HDR causes colors to be washed out and Monitor HDR is only configurable. some settings but doesn't indicate the best dynamic range. Keep in mind that IPS displays have terrible contrast ratios and this is a very dim display with only 350 nits of brightness. The monitor looked so bad out of the box that I seriously considered returning it, but after a little tweaking and switching to 10-bit color, it's a lot better. Image quality is a far cry from my old 27-inch Dell 4k monitor, but it's acceptable at decent viewing angles, and the higher refresh rate is good for gaming. All in all, this is a good monitor, but don't think you'll get everything. advertised features together.
