Review on BOOHER 1900101 Dual Function Screwdriver Set by Mark Ponnusamy

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The crappy pen makes this set pointless.

The bits are good and this is the only set I could find that had the reach I needed. The case is also of good quality. In fact, both housing and bits are what I would expect from a nearly $30 set. Unfortunately, this rating is reduced to two stars because of the handle. The handle looks like a cheap plastic with an inferior silicone coating. The bits are difficult to change and wobble in the grip when you put them in the lock bearing. If you slide them all the way past the bearing, they snap into place as expected, but are very difficult to remove. I ended up throwing it across the room a bit when I first took it off. Overall the kit is good and well built, but the lack of a quality grip makes it pointless. [Next Steps] I've used this set a few times and thought the lock bearing was worn out. Unfortunately, the bearing now doesn't engage at all, allowing the bits to fall out. Used it to build a computer and ended up dropping the bit straight onto the motherboard before putting it aside and returning to my Stanley. Also, don't think that you can buy this set and just get the pen somewhere else. These bits are not fixed in any driver descriptor I could find. In short, don't waste your money on this set.
