These things are cool! It seems that as kittens get older, it becomes more difficult for them to keep warm when it gets cold. Of course, turning the heating up as high as you like turns the place into a steam room for the residents. I'm so happy for Snugglesafes! I have one for each kitten. They keep warm for over 10 hours, and I don't even heat them up to the maximum time for our microwave power (they're hot enough at 80% of the recommended time). Before heating up, please check how much power your microwave has and see if it heats up a few minutes less than maximum! Small things have a big impact. Don't forget to heat one at a time as well. These pads don't cushion but I think they are safer and the girls don't mind. Highly recommended for conscientious pet owners with pets who need a little more sustained warmth.
