Review on OXO Grips 12 Inch Locking Tongs by Nick Morales

These tongs are one of the most used kitchen tools I own. They are just right - long enough but not too long, safe to use in non-stick and hard anodized pans, heat resistant enough to be used at higher temperatures, lock works and stays locked when you need it but still easy to close unlock when you need it. And they safely go in the dishwasher for cleaning. They wear out over time - plastic parts aren't 100% heat resistant, springs can rust and break, the cam bends if you hit it on a hard surface to open it, etc. The price is reasonable, so buy a pair and replace them if they are useful enough.
