I love these tongs from Oxo and they work almost as well as their uncoated brethren. I say "almost" because for some reason the "arrows" don't always line up exactly, but since they're only slightly offset I'm not going to complain. I have tried other pliers that are much worse. With these pliers, I've found that this very small amount of displacement doesn't seem to affect performance at all. I would not use them in very high temperatures as the nylon can and will melt.
