Well I've bought at least 6 HDMI converters for my PS2 in the last 8 years and this is by far the best I've ever bought. First of all, the price is right and the construction is not cheap material. I've used this in both modes and both look great compared to others I've bought! Don't get me wrong, you don't get 1080p quality, but the picture is very similar to what is displayed on an HDTV, just excellent. TIP: I have found that adjusting the color, sharpness and brightness on your TV is very helpful! My PS2 games look great, I've been playing all my sports games for 3 weeks. This is by far the best HDMI converter on the market. Splurge on it, don't buy cheap cheap plastic versions. That's it. I hope they keep improving these converters. Haven't found any flaws yet. Selling all my old ones on ebay instead. Product +++++! The game shown in my photos is NBA Live 2003, one of my favorites!
