Looks thin, but it's not.
Gasket looks different and has different cross section than the original gasket in my Kenmore Elite dishwasher but works fine. There are no instructions included, but I found a video online that says you should install it with the curved edge facing the center of the dishwasher. I've used it several times with very hot water and no more leaks.
