Works like a champ! It has a separate power switch so it can stay plugged in. Easy to connect to the car network. Ideal for charging my phone and laptop when I have to work from the car. The noise level is higher than expected as the last unit I had was a much smaller single plug unit that made no noise at all but also didn't have nearly as much juice as this one. This is just a light fan, the sound is very low and inaudible when music is playing. The only downside would be its general chunkiness due to the size and shape, there really isn't room to plant it or mount it in my car so it just sits or slides anywhere. Overall, I'm quite satisfied and no longer have to worry about choosing between charging my laptop or my phone. I can do both together, in unison and fast!
