Failed to load media. In place of our fireplace, we built an 84" x 46" bookshelf. It's quite heavy, but these loops handle it with no problem. The hardest part of the install was just drilling a trench for the top hinge, but that wasn't too bad. I'm very pleased with how well these loops work. Opening and closing the Murphy door is easy and smooth. The only thing you should pay attention to is the presence of a ball bearing in the lower hinge. Make sure it doesn't fall out during installation as it is an integral part of how the hinges work.
