Love this corn stripper. I cook corn on the cob in the microwave for 4 minutes in the shell. Then I cut off the bottom end of the corn cob and pinch the other end and the corn cob comes out cleaned of silk and all! I then use a corn stripper, cut off half of the cob in one direction, and then twist it to finish the other end. If I do this with two cobs of corn, I end up with a nice bowl of whole corn kernels for 3-4 servings. Just add some oil and salt and it's that good. I used to cut it by hand but with the help of this stripper it was very easy for me to separate the corn from the cob. I haven't tried raw corn so I don't know how it will work with that, but I definitely like it. I highly recommend it.
