This is an AMAZING filter from Filtrete. 20x25x1 PERFECT FOR MY OFFER "BEST BOX FAN FILTER! "

This is an AMAZING filter from Filtrete. I currently live with a die-hard smoker who refuses to go outside to smoke. Unfortunately, I currently live in Dallas, Texas, where ten months of the year it's unbearably hot outside, so opening a window to air out the two-bedroom apartment I live in isn't an option. The air conditioning is always on, which spreads the smoke to all rooms in the apartment (including mine). So, having looked into HEPA air purifiers, a proper air purifier costs over $500, which is currently out of the question. I found the Toms Beter Box Fan website where he had instructions on how to make a DIY box fan cleaner for the price of two filters and a box fan. I decided to make one. Some people put a 20x20x1 filter on the back of the fan and call it a good idea, not the best. Walmart's cheap box fan motors aren't designed for that kind of load. So to solve this problem, just take two 20x25x1 filters and "pin" them together on the suction side of the box fan, cut and glue cardboard from the Amazon box on top of the filters to create a to create a tight seal. Make a Homemade Air Purifier for $50! I WAS SO HAPPY when Filtrete released these 2800 Series filters! The highest quality available in these tobacco smoke filter sizes! I also liked the 2 packs they come in (perfect for my dual filter fan). After 2 packs of filters arrived all I needed was some white gorilla tape, a box fan, a knife and 30 minutes to build my air purifier. These filters work with ULTRAFINE PARTICLES such as smoke, smog and 2.5m pollution. After running my best box fan in the smoking room for just an hour, the air cleared and only tar and yellow dirt could be seen on the surface of the filter. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE 2800 SERIES FILTERS! The rugged, heavy-duty construction is worth the extra money and is built to last.
