First Complaint: The cutter needs a way to lock the blade arm to the base. There's a friction fit at the blade-to-body junction, but it's all too easy to grab the cutter on the left or right side and accidentally move your hand up while lifting. Also the accuracy of the right angle between the back rail and the blade, the fact that the cutter is metal and not wood, the blade is parallel to the guard and to the right of the base makes the cutter great for what I do . I make fridge magnets by hand by making each image with a white border on each side, this cutter works great. The pull cut magnet is easy to line up with the protective cover and ensure that - as long as I hold the magnet tight - the cut is parallel to the edge of the side by side image. I use an old 18" square paper cutter for rough cutting and this Dahle cutter for finishing. RECOMMENDED!
