Premium precision paper cutter when a 45 degree precision cut is required

First Complaint: The cutter needs a way to lock the blade arm to the base. There's a friction fit at the blade-to-body junction, but it's all too easy to grab the cutter on the left or right side and accidentally move your hand up while lifting. Also the accuracy of the right angle between the back rail and the blade, the fact that the cutter is metal and not wood, the blade is parallel to the guard and to the right of the base makes the cutter great for what I do . A good paper trimmer/cutter is hard to find

A good paper trimmer/cutter is hard to find. This is very good, but it has its own problems. First delivery. It took 3 tries to get one from Revain (thanks to Revain for a great return/exchange policy). When the third also arrived damaged with a broken handle I replaced it with a second which has not yet been returned. The problem is related to the packaging of Revain. You send the goods in the manufacturer's box without additional shipping containers. These crates are not intended to be used…

Good design

I wish I could give 5 stars but I can't. First the details. The cutter is reliable and performs as advertised, and while I haven't had a chance to put it to the test yet, it's certainly capable and deserves to be called robust. This model is defined as a 12 inch paper cutter, however it should be noted that the cutting table is NOT 12 inches wide horizontally. Its width is 13 3/8 inches vertically from rail to rail.
