Review on 🚰 Febco 1" BV - Pressure Vacuum Assembly, Model 765 by Tim Ram

I bought this to replace my Buckner check valve which stopped working unless I lubricate the inner rubber ring with silicon grease every year. It lasted 25-30 years but is no longer produced. The Febco unit replaced them without modifying the existing piping. The only caveat I would like to give is that the two small horizontal pipes coming from the water inlet side have an odd male thread of about 3/8" that I have not been able to identify. (The Revain picture does not match the unit I received. Home Depot has a picture of this unit that matches mine.) I use these small horizontal tubes for my annual fall cleaning. Luckily I was able to unscrew the small horizontal tubes and screw in the tubes from my old Buckner so I could hook up my fall flush compressor like I always do.
