Carpet tape not working. Update: Found something that works
Rails would be nice if we could just get the nose to stay glued. Use carpet tape as suggested. The tip of our ladder is made of steel, the tape sticks to steel but not to rubber. I tried to heat the area and clamped it. Lasts a while, then the rubber just wanted to get back to its 90 degree flex after we rode it for a while. Now I'm studying glues, about which there are too many and many opinions! TO UPDATE. THE PRODUCT USED IS A HIGH PERFORMANCE NEOPRENE CONTACT ADHESIVE 3M #1357. Expensive at Revain but works.
