Worth every penny!: Starter & Parts
First of all I've never heard of a 6.5 liter turbo diesel that performs with such power! I recently rebuilt a 6.5 liter diesel in my Suburban and bought this starter to finish the build and get to work. It's really cool that they moved the starter solenoid to the underside of the engine. You no longer need to replace the starter due to heat failure. You still need to use a support bracket for the back of the starter. But with an inverted design, it's easier. I will never buy anything else for 6.2/6.5 again. This item is AMAZING!
