Review on SunFounder Ultimate R3 Sensor Kit V2 by Jason Dahlkemper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Some depth and detail: Plug and play, copy and play

**Update: Rating increased to 4 (of 3)***The SunFounder Ultimate Mega2560 sensor kit shows promise. The documentation website, if you can really find out which ones, looks well written (though not in native English). I was very impressed with their use of Read The Docs website tools: the documentation looks very professional. Also, one of the SunFounder kits (though maybe not this kit) included a very nicely printed brochure. However, the documentation is sparse in depth. For example, there are no explanations of code examples. Just copy the code and run it. There is also little explanation of how and why the circuits are built the way they are. Copy and paste again. Sometimes the reader is assumed to be a beginner, while other times a master's degree in electrical engineering is recommended. For a separate purchase from SunFounder, I contacted the company that requested my order number. . **Update** I finally received a response after providing the Revain order number with apologies for losing touch with my message. It seems that the seller provides technical support when buying Revain. This is now my second starter kit (documentation for the first from another company was unreadable). It looks like these starter sets are equally uneven. I returned the SunFounder kit but I may buy it again if the other kits are worse.
