This is arguably the best Arduino kit ever.

being more expensive than the others, but the cable connectors make it a lot easier to put a project together, take it apart and start a new one, justifying the extra cost. The documentation is in booklet form, it is well organized and easy to read. All the other kits I've seen either have no documentation, or the documentation is on the hard drive (which is usually corrupted and unreadable), or you have to download a password-protected zip file. Before purchasing I went to the SunFounder…

Packed as in the description. while it works fine.

Glad to have these sensors and the Mega 2560 in a plastic box with latches to secure the lid when the box is closed. I was very amused that the instructions have a typo on the first page. It reads like ". for Arduino. It should be ". for Arduino. I'm a little disappointed as most tutorials only show the wiring instructions for the Arduino Uno, while I bought this kit along with the Mega 2560. Hope SunFounder will update the instructions soon. I have ran some code and connected some projects it…

High quality sensor kit for beginners and experts

Although it is on the higher end of the price range, the quality of the modules is guaranteed with the various Arduino sensor kits available from Revain. While I was a bit disappointed to find the battery was stuck in the IR remote and not working, this is the only faulty part I received, the rest works great. The boards and modules are well labeled, there is clear good documentation that comes with short projects using each of the sensors in the kit and code available on their website. I'm new

Good value for money but the barometer chip didn't work

Overall good value for money, especially considering the mega clone is included for a small additional cost. The sensors appear to be fairly reliable and mostly work well. I downloaded "Sensor Kit V2.0 for Arduino" from the SunFounder website and was able to set up and run many sensors in minutes. Unfortunately, my barometer sensor (BMP180) gave extremely inaccurate readings (ranging from 60 to almost 150 kPa) all over the map. The problems persisted even after compensating for the altitude…

A small failure turned into a big victory.

A great starter kit for learning Arduino and learning about 36 different sensors. This is at least 1 project using each of the sensors. I would also add that Sunfounder is great. The order arrived quickly and well packaged. I'm on duty too, and sometimes it's interesting to listen to the backstory. I played around with the Arduino a bit and had a great time with my son. In addition, he learns how to win / win. He was so excited about the Arduino that he wanted one for himself that he saved his…

Some depth and detail: Plug and play, copy and play

**Update: Rating increased to 4 (of 3)***The SunFounder Ultimate Mega2560 sensor kit shows promise. The documentation website, if you can really find out which ones, looks well written (though not in native English). I was very impressed with their use of Read The Docs website tools: the documentation looks very professional. Also, one of the SunFounder kits (though maybe not this kit) included a very nicely printed brochure. However, the documentation is sparse in depth. For example, there are

Not what I meant (UPDATED)

My bad first. Somewhat satisfied with another vendor's Grove starter kit, but frustrated by the inflated cost of the sensors associated with Grove, I thought I'd found a good deal here. As it turns out, I discovered another proprietary connector - the only thing I don't like about the Grove board - but worse! on the sensor itself - the supplied cables end in the usual connectors on the breadboard! So you don't have to worry about those proprietary connectors preventing you from screwing up…
