Review on 🔧 Enhance Performance and Prolong Lifespan with ATP B-206 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit by David Fields

I bought this filter kit because it had decent reviews and I was open minded about what I was getting and what would work (or not). The intended application was a 2000 Subaru Forester L (2.5LN/A). What was in the box: x 1 transmission filter x 1 gasket. As I suspected, the only thing that worked for me was the filter. It was an exact OEM match and screen type only. On the other hand, the seal wasn't even the 'third hand' type as advertised. Instead I got a plain old crumpled cork gasket which I haven't used as Subaru only suggests using Ultra Gray. BTW I used weights and books to try to reshape the pad to be flat and even potentially usable. I ended up not using it because it wasn't what it was supposed to be and it never lined up properly. However, I would use it as is IF it was a 3rd party pad like I thought I was going to get. Replacement parts and purchase of OEM or other aftermarket replacements.
