This cutter was ideal for making 1x5 window sills. You'll need to carefully adjust the height so that it covers 3/4 inch of the board's thickness, but this will work. It arrived quickly and was securely packaged. You will need a router table with railings and perforated boards to hold the board against the table top and railing. I also found I had to make long inlet and outlet extensions for my router. Table when cutting the edge of 8ft boards, otherwise the boards would detach from the cutter at the beginning and end of each cut.
