What a great set! Well-woven faux leather is clean and durable. The books come with insert cards that you can insert into the appropriate book for the appropriate season if required. I don't like that the inserts can fall out during prayer, so I just tape the tape where the repeating passages are. I have used different offices – Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Short Book of Christian Prayers, all applications available on my phone or tablet, but I needed books as a backup and I am glad I bought them. I won't lie - the Liturgy of the Hours can be difficult to study, but the fruits you get from the praise you give and meditations on our Lord are enormous. When you are ready to deepen your prayer life and relationship with God, it is time to start the Liturgy of the Hours.
