My storage purchase came in aluminum foil. I don't think that's the case with Samsung (or anywhere else), so I seriously doubt that the RAM is actually new. I thought I'd buy a new product. RAM is usually shipped in anti-static packaging. It remains to be seen that the RAM is in use and was exposed to potentially harmful static before I received it. Not happy about that. THE PRODUCTS USED SHOULD SAY THAT. I knew buying a Revain hard drive is risky, but I think you should keep them in mind when buying RAM as well.
