Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Sunco Lighting Dimmable Bathroom Vanity Fixture by Shane Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow. Great so far! Got 3000k and 2700k

These 12 bulbs arrived yesterday and I installed them in our master bathroom (warm white 3000k) and still do. Excellent! All 12 bulbs work and work with our slide dimmer switch which we have already used with the 12 25W bulbs we have always used. We couldn't wait to get rid of these hot energy and money hogs! The first two photos I've attached don't quite show the full brightness they really are, but with 12 bulbs it's really bright. We don't usually see them that often. The wall is painted an almond color if that helps. In the darker photo, shadows from light bulbs appear behind a night light on the counter below. Kelvin (heat) would make sense to us anyway. You can be different. Yes, some might think this chrome vanity lamp is "outdated," but it works great for us and until we find another style that we like. It is in order. We have two other bathrooms with the same fixtures. All three have dimmers. These bulbs were supposed to be delivered today. The dimmer switch in the master bathroom is newer than our other two bathrooms. Installed about five years ago (brand not sure) NO buzzing from bulbs and switches NO flickering. After these lamps arrived I ordered another set of 12 lamps but for 2700,000. I want to lower the brightness by changing bulbs - put (12) 2700k bulbs in the master and share (12) 3000k bulbs with the other two bathrooms because they only use 6 bulbs each. Having installed these bulbs with old dimmer switches I will update this review if there is a hum as others have mentioned. but so far we are very impressed with this UPDATE 8-12-18: A package of 12 2700k bulbs arrived today (Sunday) so I put them in our main bathroom and moved the 3000k bulbs to the other two bathrooms like I did above have mentioned. same as 3000k. You will hardly notice the difference. but with 12 bulbs in a room, that's enough to dim a bit. I have attached two more photos of our master bathroom, the fourth photo shows the 3000,000 lightbulbs on the left and 2700,000 on the right. fully included. 5. Photo with blackout. 3000k left/2700k right. As for the dimmers in our other two bathrooms with 3000k bulbs (6 in each bathroom): no problem. No buzzing, no flickering. And we found out that these dimmers are about 20 years old. These are round push and turn knobs, each rated at 600 watts, which we were already considering replacing with sliders, but for now I just thought I'd mention that they work fine. IMO: The 2700k and 3000k Sunco bulbs are ideal for those making the switch from incandescent to LED and want a comparably warm/soft light that is slightly brighter than incandescent when used in multi-bulb fixtures, but not a super bright white light . If you are looking for a brighter light you may need 4000K or 5000K and also consider a dimmer. When using individual LED bulbs we found that we changed some of them that 2700k (in several different brands) all appear in "warmth" or "color" very similar to 60 watt incandescent bulbs. So if you're looking for brighter light in certain applications (e.g. a table lamp with a single bulb) you might want to consider a "warmth" of 4000K or more Kelvin.
