Mounting surface thickness on one side is less than 1/8 inch, which is MUCH thinner than the OEM starter (ie, it does NOT meet OEM specs). I realized it was an ACDelco so decided to see how it would hold up before writing a review. Well, I'm 11 months old, the starter motor on my jeep is completely dead. Numbers, their warranty only applies to starters produced since April. The funny thing is, I know I checked the 12 month warranty when I bought it, but now they say they only guarantee newly manufactured products.
