Review on 🚗 Reese Towpower 7014200 Tow Bar with Adjustable Features by Robert Pierce

I used this hitch to tow a YJ Jeep (4200 lbs) from Pecos, NM to Wichita Falls, TX (just under 500 miles), we stopped regularly to check everything. Around the 300 mile mark I noticed a slight deflection on the driver's side, but I think it was due to the sharp turn to get to the gas station. As for the prep work I went ahead and bought the lock washers along with the red Loctite, having read that some had had trouble loosening some of the nuts and bolts I had no problem with that at all. If I hadn't shot too sharply, I don't think anything would have been wrong. I think this hitch is great for towing any light car for a few thousand miles as long as you use lock washers and Loctite and keep a close eye on everything. Would buy again but no longer need it after our trip, hitch is still in good condition and could easily go another 500 miles.
