This came to me as a 4 year old kid who fixed it in a box in the yard with some rolls of duct tape! Luckily it's pretty durable. I think this is a good box for the price for a medium sized room (preferably the pillow comes with a cover). I've never met a dog that didn't have a smelly day here and there sooner or later. I HAVE A LITTLE BOXER (little one from the litter) he has to crouch to get in. LENGTH is ok. He loves all of his cages and is well used to cages. He'd rather stink my carpet than love that drawer. He wants easier access (height) and he wants to be seen too! (He's quite dainty, it won't kill him) Compared to the metal box I had which was completely disassembled and I couldn't find instructions anywhere online, this one was easy to put together! I became physically ill after spending 2 hours trying to assemble a single door wire box with a stamped metal label. It was a two man job and Hennessy reminded me that he was not human and could not help. You need some strength to attach the last board. Otherwise, assembly was a breeze.
