Fits me Fits cutting boards

This Rubbermaid board has had some bad reviews online. One thing a lot of people mention is that it's small and doesn't drain properly. It's a bit small, but if you're like me and have a small sink, you'll need a small board. Large planks literally channeled water outside of my sink. I needed something small to direct the water down the sink instead of onto the countertop. Rubbermaid has different sizes of dish racks, but this size is perfect for me. I also bought a matching Rubbermaid dish dryer to use. It has a very low incline that directs water from one end to the sink. The other three edges are aligned with a slight upward curve to prevent water from dripping off them. I've never had a problem diverting water to anywhere other than my sink with this drain board. Many people have also said that the water is not draining "enough" and that the water is still stagnant. I noticed this too and just put two stacked boards under each of the back corners of my board. This raised it so much that the water immediately drained away, leaving nothing but a few drops. I think I was expecting a more rubbery material from this board, but it's actually hard plastic. This makes it very easy to clean. I can literally wipe it down with a towel once I'm done washing up and it will look brand new. Very convenient. My only issue with hard plastic is that it doesn't stick well to the countertop. My board seems to slide easily which means I have to adjust it if it moves away from the center of the sink while placing dishes on it. It hurts a little, but for the hygienic properties of hard plastic, I'm worth giving up. I would like to see rubber pads on the bottom of the board to hold it in place. Maybe with the next Rubbermaid model? But so far it's working fine. Overall I am happy with this board. It fits in my small sink and the plastic is easy to clean. It flows fairly efficiently and flows even better if you adjust the height at the back with a washcloth underneath. My only downside is that it doesn't hold up very well. But in general this is a small problem. And I'm really happy with the board. For the price I paid (about $8) I'm very happy with it.
