Without a doubt, these are the best ballerinas on the market. They are so pretty and the quality is great. I've never had a problem with them and when my daughter outgrows them they sell them for a lot of money at the kids thrift store because even though they are used weekly in ballet classes they are still in great condition. The size is bigger. Measure, of course, but my rule of thumb is to buy one size larger than my child's shoes. My daughter has rather narrow feet and I buy the normal size. The strings are pretty tight.
