Review on ๐Ÿš— EBC Brakes DP61657 6000 Series Greenstuff Brake Pad for Trucks and SUVs by Michael Morgan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

so far so good works great

I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma and have had to replace pads and rotors, my truck tends to deform rotors, I've done 3 sets and rolled over twice due to deformity which seems to be the case be a common problem with these trucks from what I've read on the forums. I bought EBC rotors (see my review on that) and these matching pads. People say they emit a lot of brake dust. From my 1000 mile experience I don't see anything better than my previous pads (Wenger mufflers). Disc brakes give off dust, don't you like it? Take an old classic car with drum brakes. On their own, the pads seem to work very well and stop great, especially when paired with slotted and knobbed rotors. When braking with the window open you will definitely hear more aggressive pads. And I don't have a violin. Ebc even supplies a REAL anti-squeak grease, which is actually a copper-based anti-squeak grease that I was taught in driving school and I've never had any brake squeal when using it. So far so good, if I run into a problem I'll update this review.
